Understanding Menopausal Symptoms

Menopause occurs as women age and affects womens health including sleep and mood disorders. This study wants to better understand the burden menopause has on women and sleep disorders. The study will help learn more about current treatments and how menopause is being addressed and controlled. People in the study will have routine care and medical treatment observed by the study. No changes to medical treatment or additional exams will occur. Being in the study requires sharing medical records and completing surveys monthly over 12 months. People will also write in a diary during the study. People are paid for participating in the study.

Inclusion Criteria
- Ages 40 to 65 years old
- Diagnosis of Menopause at least 12 months before participation
- Current symptoms of Menopause such as feeling anxious, nervous, depressed, tired, difficulty sleeping, low energy
- Able to complete monthly surveys and write in a diary
- Able to attend in person visits at the study clinic
Exclusion Criteria
- Breast cancer diagnosis
- Recent hormone treatment
- Induced Menopause such as caused by surgery or chemotherapy
- Diagnosis of insomnia sleep disturbances caused by other reasons
- Experiencing Perimenopause
