Testing the Drug REGN7544 for People with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

(IRB#: IRB_00184156)

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) is a condition that causes a serious increase of heart rate when standing up from sitting or lying down. This study will test a drug called REGN7544 to treat people with POTS. The study wants to see if the drug will help people with the condition and is safe. People in the study will be randomly chosen to be treated with the study drug REGN7544 or a placebo. The drug and placebo look the same, but the placebo does not have the medication. People in the study will wear a cardiac (heart) monitor on the chest. Being in the study requires up to 8 visits at the study clinic over about 18 weeks. Medical tests will be done during the study to track the health of participants.
