Shared Decision-Making of People with Carotid Artery Stenosis and Their Caregivers

(IRB#: IRB_00174805)

Carotid Arteries are the major blood vessels that carry blood to the brain. Carotid Artery Stenosis is a disease that narrows these arteries and increases the risk of a stroke. This study will learn from people with this disease and their caregivers to help develop guidelines for shared decision-making. Participants in the study will attend a 90-minute focus group to discuss experiences of living with Carotid Artery Stenosis as a patient and caregiver.
