Preventing Perinatal Depression using an Online Intervention in a Healthcare System
(IRB#: IRB_00159109)
Women may suffer from depression before and after childbirth. This is called perinatal depression. Access to mental health resources can be difficult in both urban and rural areas. An online prevention program as part of a healthcare system may be a tool to access education and mental health resources. Research is needed to learn if using this tool is effective at preventing perinatal depression. The information we gain may aid future patients.
